Job Description Mgr ESG/HSE Program Delivery - 00026824 **Description**

Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of **Manager, ESG/HSE Program Delivery** within our **Operating Management System (OMS) Implementation department** based in **Houston, TX.**

As part of Oxys Operating Management system development, the ESG/HSE Program Delivery Manager will assist in advancing the function to maximize the safety culture, minimize incidents, and to implement next-generation innovations that enable a step-change in performance and operating efficiency and assist Oxy in building the carbon management company of the future. The ideal candidate will bring broad experience, leadership, and success in implementing and management system that may be certified to the International Standards Organization as well as behavioral-based safety programs to achieve continuous improvement. In addition, he/she should possess passion for innovation, including utilization of advanced IT tools, predictive analytics, Power BI, and their potential application to increase operations efficiencies and HSE/ESG performance. To be successful, the person will need to partner with business units and support functions among all levels of the organization.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide expertise in the role of manager regarding the implementation of the new Oxy Operational Management System (OMS)

* Play a key-role in the development, roll-out and implementation of the OMS.

* This role will be able to collaborate professionally with stakeholders in the field, Legal, HR, Risk, etc and be able to make experienced-based decisions in their journey to deliver objectives.

* Partner with stakeholders Oxy-wide to create, implement, and manage an Oxy Operations Management System (OMS) that will be compliant with an appropriate International Standards.

* Play active role in the development of Policies, Standards, Procedures and Guidelines (PSPG)

* Manages intake, documentation and prioritization of client requirements and requests regarding the OMS implementation

* Supports stakeholder strategy discussions to define program vision and objectives

* Drives alignment and buy-in from cross-functional and business stakeholders

* Engages stakeholders in the business to ensure minimum disruption and maximum adoption of programs

* Maintains effective program governance, managing risks, issues and interdependencies

* Conducts research and benchmarking to support program vision and architect program roadmap

* Identifies and escalates issues or conflicts within the programs and among teams; proposes solutions

* Assesses effectiveness of communication and interaction with stakeholder group and adjusts accordingly

* Supports project coordination and liaises with cross-functional work teams and key stakeholders

* Ensures stakeholder feedback is integrated and buy-in is gained at appropriate stages and milestones

* Flexes job responsibilities to support the larger team and proactively contributes in meaningful ways

* Performs various levels of execution for all of the above, depending on need

* 7-12 years relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years of experience developing a management system to meet an International Standard.

* Bachelors or equivalent degree or equivalent degree in HSE or Environmental sciences

* Preferred experience in an internal or external consulting role

* Preferred experience using change management or program management principles and methodologies

**Qualifications**

**Skills:**

* Expert in Microsoft Office 365 applications

* Strong written and visual presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior leaders on a regular basis

* Proficient in data analysis and data visualization

* Proficient in architecting and executing strategies and plans

* Ability to learn new technologies as needed

* Ability to learn new business concepts as needed
