Beautiful Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod is seeking candidates for a Gate Attendant. The Gate Attendant provides a welcoming atmosphere for all who enter the Mansion side of the Resort. The Gate Attendant will provide information to our members, guests and visitors; ensures the safety and security of the Resort while performing job duties.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide a welcoming, hospitable environment to anyone entering the property.
• Provide operational information to any member, guest or visitor entering property.
• Engage guests by building a rapport and recognizing them by name to create WOW experiences.
• Direct members, guests or visitors to the proper area of the Resort by referring to the daily reports.
• Communicate with Guest Services on guest names.
• Be familiar and give directions to area attractions.
• Enforce parking restrictions with team members and the public at large for Ocean Edge.
• Inform management of any team member not following the proper parking restrictions.

Other:

Observe and monitors for any unusual activity and in the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarly.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Ocean Edge from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Resort.

Supportive Functions Include:

In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to handle a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.

• Assists with luggage pull as required.
• Directional support of condo unit owners.

While a part of the Guest Services team, Gate Attendants may typically work alone for much of each shift. Frequent bending and standing is required.

Preference will be given to those candidates who can work after Labor Day.
