This role will be immersed in our ERP transformation program (xELERATE), providing the candidate the opportunity to blueprint and drive change from birth to nurturing. The SAP FICO Functional Analyst will assist with the design, development and deployment of an optimized, integrated, automated solution, specifically related to our Finance functions across Accounting, Procurement, and Treasury. Post-transformation, this role will be the functional expert in FICO and a critical component of our SAP COE, working with key business stakeholders and product teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements, projects and enable capabilities that provide value to the cooperative. The SAP FICO Functional Analyst will also work closely with the Application support team to resolve day-to-day support tickets and ensure the operational health of the system. As such the role requires keen attention to detail. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments. Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote.
A Day in the Life...
xELERATE - SAP FICO Functional Analyst Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the ERP transformation project team supporting the various workstreams that intersect with Finance (Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay), your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborates with other solution integration, business leads, and functional analysts to ensure end-to-end processes are appropriately designed and supported by technology
Provide input of design/build cycles plan
Participate in workstream status meetings, daily stand-up meetings, design/build reviews/retrospectives and cross-workstream meetings
Identify and document business requirements/user stories
Provide input to Cutover Plan
Assist in execution of Test Plan and defect identification & resolution
Assist in design of future-state business processes
Perform cross-module, end-to-end process integration
Support change management team in understanding impacts of system and process changes
Review and provide input to training and communications content
Contribute to the standardization of reports, processes, and data definitions/attributes
Work with conversion team to perform activities related to data cleansing and validation
Technical Skills/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, SAP development team, data governance, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, design and deliver implementations and enhancements within SAP FICO
Work with the business and product partners from cross-functional initiatives to support the business processes related to Finance and identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and growth enabled by tech solutions
Accountable for maintaining integrations within SAP FICO module, supporting ecosystems and overseeing batch schedules working with 3rd party offshore support teams and/or Vendor support teams
Document and diagram existing system and business processes and analyze for more efficient methods
Translate functional business requirements into technical requirements working within an agile team
Collaborate within an agile team to perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed enhancements and projects to aid management in making implementation decisions
Coordinate and perform use case tests, end-user reviews and post-implementation support
Deliver orientation and training to end users for new capabilities, enhancements and projects including writing documentation
Provide production support and research application incidents working with developers, end-users, and the Application support team
Assist in prioritizing break/fix and enhancement requests with product managers, business leads, and Application support team to ensure delivery of prioritized requests in a timely manner
What We Are Looking For:
3 years of functional SAP experience in FICO, ideally in a CPG/Manufacturing business
Basic knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud a plus
Knowledge of APIs and other integration methodologies
SDLC/Agile methodologies
Strong multitasking and enhancement & production management experience
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
