QualificationsMinimum:
  • AA Certification in School Administration Endorsement Area 486, 487, or 488.
  • Experience as a classroom teacher.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong human relation skills.
  • A philosophy of school leadership which includes:
    • Instructional leadership,
    • Curriculum emphasis,
    • An understanding of child development,
    • A safe, orderly, and effective school climate,
    • High performance expectations,
    • Sound fiscal management,
    • Parent and community involvement, and
    • A standard operating procedure which promotes two-way communications and grass roots input in the decision-making process.
    • Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds.
