Certified Nursing Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists residents in their activities of daily living tasks as needed and directed.
Responds to resident needs promptly, while maintaining each resident's self-respect, dignity, safety and confidentiality.
Documents actions by completing forms, logs, and reports.
Uses universal precautions and follows established policies and procedures.
Maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Updates job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities.
Qualifications:
Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
CPR certification
Excellent bedside manner
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with an electronic health record system
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Minimum 5 years experience
