Position SummaryThe Taproom Associate will work to fulfill our Statement of Purpose - To exceed guest expectations of Odell Brewing and positively reinforce the brand position and brand strategy. This full-time position is responsible for the on-site guest experience, serving guests, assisting coworkers, stocking beer and merchandise and keeping the place looking great, all with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, this position will work ~5 hours per week supporting social media needs, creating content & posting to our channels regularly for our Five Points Brewhouse and Taproom in Denver, CO. This position is full-time and will be scheduled up to 40 hours/week. Must be available work nights, weekends, and some holidays.Essential FunctionsSocial Media Support
Develop new content for our social media channels that reflect Taproom happenings and overall vibe
Share regularly scheduled content on our social media channels in a addition to impromptu posting from the taproom throughout the week
Engage with social media audience & answer questions as needed
Collaborate with Marketing Team and Interim General Manager to ensure alignment on initiatives, objectives and goals
Assist with event promotion and coordination
Bartending
Beer presentation and Odell Brewing quality standards
Overall flow and teamwork behind the bar
Washing glassware
Minimizing beer and merchandise loss
Make any necessary changes to the menu, Upserve, Untappd, and the tap line-up - communicate these changes with the team
Routine draft system duties – changing kegs, swapping shells, adjusting nitro, etc.
Opening and closing of cash drawers- verify totals, reconciliation and other tasks as assigned.
Serving
Exceptional menu knowledge with awareness of dietary restrictions and guest modifications
Enter orders and run payments through POS in an organized manner
Ensure a fun, enthusiastic and optimal guest experience
Clearing and cleaning tables
Ensure the entrance, rooftop patio, main level patio, and both floors are clean, organized, and ready to open for business
Assist with, report, and document, as appropriate, problematic guest situations
Check temperature, lighting, music, cleanliness, bathroom marketing, and overall guest experience throughout the shift
Stocking merchandise and other retail items
Abide by all company safety policies and processes
Be willing to assist with any brewhouse needs

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
Must have at least one year of relevant experience in service industry
Demonstrated proficiency with social media
Experience creating social media content including stories, reels, and posts
TiPS certification required or acquired within 3 months of hire
Demonstrated passion and ability to ensure excellent guest experiences
Demonstrated positive, motivated, hardworking, and collaborative attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to work long hours on your feet
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and move up to 160 lbs
Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment
Ability to crouch, bend, lift, climb stairs, and reach.
Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations
