JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of responsible, professional and technical work related to the design, development, implementation, documentation and enhancement of the Countys Audio Visual systems in county courtrooms, huddle rooms and digital signage. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department. THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION WITH DURATION UP TO 90 DAYS; THERE ARE NO BENEFITS INCLUDED WITH THIS POSITION.

• Recommends and provides expert advice about the implementation of a county wide AV strategic plan.
• Remains up-to-date on current AV technology.
• Recommends and implements upgrades and patches.
• Maintains a library of A/V content, control designs and programming code.
• Installs, configures, manages and maintains Audio Visual systems at County locations.
• Utilizes photography and video equipment to compose content for County projects.
• Perform pre or post-production video editing.
• Works in partnership with other employees, departments/offices and external vendors/service providers to deliver cost effective and innovative audio-visual systems.
• Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

• High School/GED and relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of Audio and Video equipment that includes photography, video, pre and post production software, Networking equipment and related technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public, vendors, other employees, and elected officials.
• Certified Technology specialist preferred.
• Temporary assignment; duration is up to 90 days. No benefits are included.

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience
