OEG Offshore is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

OEG Offshore is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our North American team in Louisiana to support with selling products as services, as well as providing customer support, to customers from the New Iberia Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for answering incoming sales calls.

• Receive and provide sales quotes on products and equipment. 

• Receive and enter sales orders into the system. 

• Train salespeople and customers in the features and use of company products.

• Perform product marketing and customer base development. • Have strong technical product knowledge, especially regarding compactor bags, CCUs, grinders, and compactors. 

• Be competent in reading and interpreting technical product drawings, customer and industry specifications, and service manuals. 

• Provide customer support by assisting in technical information sharing, problem resolution, and order coordination. 

• Report to management any system discrepancies or opportunities for improvement regarding in-house and field operations which may provide continuous improvement to the system. 

• Be competent in the use of software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and preferably the system’s current server, to appropriately maintain and share company information.

• Be expected to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in written form, with customers, vendors, management, and other coworkers to perform the duties of this position.

• Be familiar with, understand, and assist in the implementation of all the business policies of the company, to support and enhance the working environment. 

• Understand and perform the processes as described in the position’s written operating procedures and work instructions.

• Be aware of the concepts of the quality system and the format of ISO 9001 requirements as applicable to the position. 

• Facilitate the development of system documents such as operating procedures and work instructions that are needed in the sales area and support the implementation of such. 

• Conduct company business as directed by the company’s management and further develop the system in accordance with the company’s mission and quality objectives and goals

• Travel is necessary to conduct company business and represent the company in matters pertaining to the system. 

• Performs other tasks and assists in special projects as per supervisor’s request.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline 
  • Prior sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
