Summary of Position :
As a bar back you will be responsible for maintaining stock, assisting during service, and providing support for all bartenders’ needs.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Maintain stock of the bar (beer, wine, liquor, etc.)
- Clean / wipe down bar area.
- Wash glasses and dishes.
- Restock and replenish liquor, garnishes, and bar supplies.
- Empty trash.
- Keep bar station and service areas clean and organized.
- Ensure outdoor bars are fully stocked with beverages.
- Act as the point of contact between outdoor bartender and indoor bartender.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- No previous restaurant experience required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
- Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
