JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting schools with addressing the needs of students by providing direct and indirect support through problem solving, identifying resources within the District and community, providing technical support with meeting District guidelines and procedures, professional development as well as ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local District regulations. 

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the area of assignment

OR

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a School Social Worker, School Counselor or School Mental Health Counselor
• Working knowledge of Crisis Intervention, Threat Management, Bullying and Conflict Resolution
