JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program for deaf/hard of hearing students and meeting the duties of teaching as outlined in laws and policies.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor's degree 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Applicants must have a valid teaching certificate or current Statement of Eligibility issued by FLDOE in the related field. Recent college graduates may apply without having either document, but will be required to apply for initial certification prior to being offered a position.

• Educational Interpreter's Evaluation (EIE) or Quality Assurance screening (QA) certification, Level I

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate work beyond the bachelor's degree
• Classroom teaching experience
• Experience in a like position
