Dietary Manager Responsibilities:
Managing daily foodservice operations.
Interviewing, recruiting, training, and firing staff.
Interacting with customer and clients to ensure their satisfaction.
Organizing staff working schedules.
Carrying out inventory management.
Purchasing supplies for operations.
Following standards and procedures for food preparation.
Ensuring safe storage and preparation of food.
Dietary Manager Requirements:
Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
Completion of a certified Dietary Manager Exam.
2 years in foodservice management is a plus.
Good mathematical skills.
Highly organized and responsible.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
