Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof.
Our flagship is a three-story space home to an all-day cafe, highly-curated marketplace featuring sought-after ingredients and prepared specialty items, a casual trattoria rooted in classic Italian cuisine, rare Amaro Library, versatile private event spaces, and year-round rooftop.
In terms of both cuisine and service, our standards are high – and so are those of our guests.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience in hospitality and has a great understanding of bar operations and safety and sanitation standards. The primary function of this position is to recruit, train, and potentially work with the F&B director to create a beverage program/menu. Organization, communication, and leadership skills are essential for this position.

Requirements:
Bartender’s license
Associates degree or higher in hospitality or related field
Extensive knowledge and experience in a bar or restaurant environment
Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid ABRA/TIPS
Familiarity with management software like Resy/Tock, POS systems, Bevager

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory
Order or notify other management team members to fulfill orders in a timely manner
Ensure bar is well stocked and clean at all times
Oversee P&L
Hire and train staff to ensure consistency with brand standards
Maintain budget while ordering without sacrificing quality of products/ingredients
Manage bar team scheduling as needed
Delegate to staff but facilitate and cultivate an inclusive and respectful work environment for staff and guests
Investigate and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
Maintain good relationships with guests and regular guests in order to build a guest relations rapport
Ensure proper policies and protocols during and after operations
Ensure safety and sanitation standards
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
