* Litigation Support Specialist (Landlord Tenant Group)

Offit Kurman, a growing full-service law firm, is seeking a Litigation Support Specialist for our Landlord Representation Group in the Baltimore office. Candidates must have a strong ability to quickly learn new tasks and procedures and have a demonstrated interest in the legal field.

**Specific Responsibilities include:**

* Effectively communicate in writing and verbally directly with sophisticated clients (typically large property management companies), courts and the firms attorneys.

* Open, maintain and close client files.

* Manage calendars and organize and schedule court hearings in various courts and jurisdictions.

* Prepare, draft, review and file a variety of legal documents.

* Organize attorney travel arrangements.

* Ability to quickly learn new laws and procedures, communicate those to clients and incorporate the new laws and procedures in your daily work product.

**Qualifications:**

* Proactive work style and analytical skills: able to read, review, verify and route correspondence, accounting records and legal documents.

* Strong production skills with ability to produce accurate work product when drafting court filings.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Demonstrated success working in a high volume, fast paced environment.

* Strong team player and motivated by team success.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2017 or newer (Outlook, Word and Excel), Internet research skills and document management systems.

* Knowledge of litigation documents and court rules and procedures preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field or other client-facing profession preferred.

* Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
