DescriptionStructured Cabling Estimator/Account ManagerThe ideal candidate for the job should have a proven track record of generating new sales and devising effective strategies for expanding market reach in the structured cabling industry. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of all Category cabling & Fiber Optic cabling and be able to recommend the most suitable cabling solutions to businesses. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster long-term relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

PayScale including benefits: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Commission

Requirements
- In-depth industry education and direct experience (minimum 3-5 years) required with structured cabling and low voltage systems
- Preferred candidates will also possess knowledge and understanding of Audio Visual systems, access control systems, security camera systems, networking, and DAS systems
- Ability to read blueprints, RFIs, specifications, schedules and wiring diagrams
- Ability to assess project needs, compose estimates and proposals, and negotiate project contracts with end user
- Ability to track a project’s progress from creation to close out
- Ability to track a project’s actual vs. budgeted material and labor costs
- Ability to create materials list, scope of work, and installation package for the operations team
- Ability to track project billings (monthly billings, AIA, retainage, change orders)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to deliver customer service is paramount
- Software experience to include but not limited to Microsoft Office, Visio, Teams & others. AutoCad, Revit, other mapping software experience is a plus.
