Recruiting Specialist

Position Overview:

As a Recruiting Specialist at One Health, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding top-tier healthcare providers and team members. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process for providers like Physicians, Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Midwives (CNM), Pharmacists (Pharm D), etc. In addition, you will assist with recruiting and onboarding of some of our team members (alternative staffing positions) ensuring a seamless transition into the One Health community.

You will also contribute to the development and execution of our onboarding programs, maintain accurate records of clinic and provider rosters, and assist in website and communication platform management to showcase new providers effectively.

  • Partnering with Atrium Health recruiting and onboarding team, you will source, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare providers aligned with One Health's values and standards.
  • Attend recruitment events on behalf of One Health at local, regional and national level.
  • Coordinate interviews, evaluations, and negotiations with potential providers and the respective practice(s).
  • Help facilitate the onboarding process for new providers, ensuring a smooth transition into the One Health network.
  • Assist in the implementation of a provider mentoring program to support new recruits.
  • Identify staffing needs and recruit suitable candidates for alternative staffing positions within One Health clinics.
  • These types of positions may be scribes, gap year students, POLA positions, etc.
  • Partnering with Atrium and One Health to source candidates at local and national programs
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and coordinate hiring processes with One Health clinics and the respective manager.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new team members, providing necessary training and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive onboarding programs for One Health team members.
  • Implement onboarding initiatives to foster integration, engagement, and retention of new hires.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance onboarding processes to optimize effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of One Health clinic and provider rosters.
  • Ensure timely updates to reflect changes in staffing, including new hires, departures, and role changes.
  • Work closely with the One Health COO and communications team to update the One Health website with new provider information.
  • Ensure that new providers are appropriately recognized and showcased on the website and other communication platforms.
  • Assist in the development of content to highlight provider expertise and enhance online visibility.
  • Facilitate introductions and networking opportunities for new providers to meet with existing One Health providers and area specialists.
  • Foster a sense of community and collaboration among providers to support professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. (One Health uses Monday.com for candidate tracking) Atrium Health has various systems for recruiting, onboarding and personnel management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider roles, licensure requirements, and industry trends.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a primary care or similar setting.
