Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is Hiring a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) Professional Near Brooklyn, NY

Ohel is seeking an energetic, motivating individual to work with men with chronic mental illness in a residential setting. Ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the mental health field and a desire to make a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Run groups encouraging socialization, teaching coping skills and activities for daily living
  • Help individuals identify their interests and passions
  • Take clients into the community for recreation and socialization opportunities
  • Provide services in the client’s environment of choice

Candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and engagement skills, and have the ability to motivate and inspire. A Bachelors degree plus one year of experience working in the mental health direct services arena required. This full time position is based in Brooklyn with a daily scheduled of 11am-7pm.

Salary: $55,000
