**JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:**

Provide daily reporting and recommendations for material sourcing, working with parts vendor management, and parts inventory control activities at all Ohio Machinery locations. This position is responsible for reporting and providing adequate material availability, balanced with investment levels, conducive to profitable operations as well as ensuring consistent and accurate inventories for the Parts Department. Resolve vendor product, quality, or pricing disputes for all OEM and aftermarket parts purchased into Ohio Machinery parts network. Assist in coordinating periodic surplus returns of excess material to vendors, and review obsolete parts for final disposition. Provide analysis of inventory control processes, including backorders. Provide ad-hoc, daily, and monthly reporting on various inventory levels, transactions, and performance by location. Works in a cooperative manner with all Parts operation teams and superiors. Participate in the required safety program, and work in a safe manner.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**

Bachelors Degree required with emphasis in the supply chain, materials management, operations management, inventory control, or similar field. Four years of experience in materials management, operations, or inventory control required. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate to expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

.**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
