ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.
We are accepting applications for a Campground Coordinator 2 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Maumee Bay State Park, assigned to Lucas County. What You Will Do…
  • Coordinate campground operations at Maumee Bay State Park;
  • Serve as a lead worker over campground personnel;
  • Assist visitors with disputes, questions, inquiries;
  • Assist with campground and marina registrations and collect and submit fees;
  • Coordinate & handle special events & programs.
  • Starting hourly pay of $20.92/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $25.45/hr.

Formal education in arithmetic that includes multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in bookkeeping; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in first aid techniques; 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in operation & maintenance of park equipment & vehicles; valid driver's license.
