What You'll DoThe Information Technologist 3 (IT3) is the first line of defense for our agency's technology users. In this role, you will provide technical support to employees and answer their questions about software, hardware, and network issues. You'll be the go-to person for resolving everyday technical problems and ensuring everyone has the resources they need to stay productive.
Information Technologist 3 Duties
  • Answering the telephone & responding to emails received for the IT help desk;
  • Assisting customers who have issues with their hardware, software, desk phone, cellular phone, printers, fax;
  • Provides support for assistive technology equipment and software;
  • Troubleshooting with customers to determine the nature of and resolution for reported issues;
  • Assisting with IT equipment deployment;
  • Updating & repairing IT hardware and software;
  • Assisting with business process analysis;
  • Creates and updates technical documentation as needed;
  • Monitoring & assisting users with third party IT supported devices.
