Scope of Position:The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department houses various multidisciplinary programs and services that focus on primary and secondary prevention and rehabilitation, including:- Inpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at UH/Ross/James- Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Martha Morehouse, West Region (Ross)- Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation at Outpatient Care Upper Arlington, West Region (Ross)This position will provide respiratory therapy diagnostic/assessment or therapeutic respiratory therapy procedures for patients in the pulmonary rehabilitation program and provide consultation to other programs with customers who have respiratory therapy needs. Position Summary:Assesses the need for, and provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures for customers in pulmonary rehabilitation and provide consultation to other programs in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab department.Minimum Education Required2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceAdditional Education DesiredBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired QualificationsGraduate of a 2 or 4 year school of Respiratory Therapy approved by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board. Must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines
