Job Description
Research Assistant Professor participates in research and teaching activities within the Department of Neurology; plans and conducts independent research program; conceptualizes and writes research proposals; seeks and obtains federal and non-federal funded research projects; trains and supervises research staff; trains and directs residents and medical students on research projcets; may participate in clinical activities if applicable
Minimum Education Required
Doctorate (Academic) or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in pharmcology
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have PhD or MD with strong proven research background and record of successful NIH funding preferred; prefer candidate to have an established funded program; Requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
