Certified Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Analyst

Summary- Looking for an energetic, detail-oriented certified pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist in a growing pharmacy department with an opportunity to make a difference in a positive and lasting environment. Everything we do is geared toward improving the lives of our clients.

General Functions-Under general supervision of pharmacist, technician will provide optimal pharmacy updates and services to our clients.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

· Assist healthcare providers and staff by answering questions and requests and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

· Answer provider calls/emails regarding questions around health plan (payer) preferred drug lists and OTC lists for contracted KY Medicaid, Commercial and Medicare plans; may aid pharmacist in targeted provider WebEx meetings.

· Assist providers and quality specialists from clinics/offices to understand Pharmacy quality measures and provide specific updates for value-based contracts.

· Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing pharmacy data.

· Adhere to all HIPAA policies and practices.

· Assist pharmacist in various administrative duties.

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing goal specific results as needed.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

· College degree preferred.

· Prior pharmacy/medical experience.

· National certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by KY regulations.

· Client-driven, understanding of individual customer needs.

· Ability to adapt to needs of challenging calls.

· Ability to remain professional in all circumstances to clients and teammates.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong computer and navigation skills.

· Adaptability, dependability, and flexibility.

· Strong organization and quality focus.

· Ability to analyze information.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
