Job Description SummaryOn OhioHealth’s Business Development and Market Growth team, we drive system growth by using our market expertise to identify market, care site, and system-based growth opportunities, by creating and executing new business plans, and by fostering strong provider relationships. In the Senior Advisor role, you will support the creation and implementation of strategies and tactics aimed at developing and enhancing OhioHealth’s growth and market position through your liaison roles to a geographic territory, care site, and business unit/service line. In that role, you will help to identify, research, and prioritize new opportunities consistent with the strategic goals of the organization. You will create and drive business strategies to increase volume, revenue, and OhioHealth’s overall market share within your assigned region / business unit. You will manage and lead business development projects for OhioHealth including new/expanded facilities and programs business partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions. You will develop and direct those projects in conjunction with hospital leaders, service line leaders, physicians, ambulatory sites, other OhioHealth entities and outside management companies/consultants. Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToDeeply understand OhioHealth’s core and target markets, community needs, competitor activity, footprint & volume trends, particularly within assigned geographic territory Help to develop system-level growth strategies; identify and recommend course of action to senior leaders based on analysis and market knowledge Identify/explore/prioritize volume/share growth opportunities Build program plans & develop business cases aimed at expanding OhioHealth’s physical footprint, penetration, and market share, drive growth projects through submission and approval processes Analyze and develop localized countermeasures for volume trends Collaborate with key campus, service line, and operations stakeholders on project & program development & execution Support provider recruitment & planning; growth-oriented system initiatives; and program / service expansions Foster and help develop strong provider relationships; collaborate with Physician Relations team Represent OhioHealth in external community organizations as required Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree (Required) Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree Field of Study: Business, Public Health, or Public Policy Years of experience: At least 7-10 years of progressive experience, with preference for consulting, strategy, business development, or healthcare management. Project management experience a plus. Additionally
Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex and ambiguous topics as well as communicate in a compelling manner; able to produce well-designed, professional looking presentations; strong ‘storytelling’ skills
Excellent data synthesis & /interpretation skills
Exceptional project management & collaboration skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity to successful outcomes through your influence/informal leadership/ relationships
A strategic, growth, and results/action-oriented mindset; high level of initiative and ability to drive action and priorities
