Ohm Systems, Inc is Hiring a Project Manager Near Washington, DC

Summary: The Project Manager IV role involves overseeing strategic management, defining program scope and objectives, and managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk. This position requires extensive IT delivery experience, particularly in project management, and includes providing status updates and recommendations to government project managers. Remote support is allowed, but candidates must be local to the Washington DC area.

  • Clearance: Public Trust
Responsibilities
  • Provide overall strategic management and define program scope and objectives.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Develop project management plans, documentation, work breakdown structures, schedules, integrated master schedules, financial reports, and risk management documentation.
  • Direct technical teams and facilitate the integration of subtasks to optimize resource and subcontractor use.
  • Serve as the focal point to the Government Project Manager for managing all tasks and subtasks.
  • Act as Principal Representative for project direction and provide project status updates, including financial status.
  • Provide information on significant issues and recommended solutions to the Government Project Manager or COR.
  • Take corrective action on issues brought by the Government Project Manager or COR.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT delivery experience, with 5-7 years in a project management role.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related disciplines (Master's preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (one or more required):
    • GSLC: GIAC Security Leadership Certification
    • GCPM: GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification
    • PMP: Project Management Professional
