Job Description
Summary: The Software Engineer role in the High Performance Computing Group involves developing and supporting mission applications within a cross-functional team. The position requires extensive experience in advanced computing software and hardware, embedded systems, and a strong knowledge of diverse programming languages. Candidates must hold a Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and be U.S. citizens.
Position Info:

- Client: General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS)
- Duration: Full-Time
- Location: 11300 Hampshire Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55438
- Clearance: Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support mission applications as part of a cross-functional team.
- Apply advanced computing skills to solve complex challenges.
- Engage in embedded systems development and lifecycle support.
- Utilize a strong understanding of software languages, hardware, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, customers, and technical counterparts.
- Contribute to the development and testing of High Performance Computing applications.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
- 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Preferred experience in Agile methodologies.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills in advanced computing systems, hardware, software, mathematics, or physics.
- Expertise in low-level software solutions leveraging hardware interfaces.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Assembly, C/C , Python, Rust, and Embedded Linux.
- Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or embedded systems.
- Active Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
