Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our growing team. You will play a key role in optimizing our procurement process, ensuring cost-effective acquisitions, and building strong relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities:

· Partner with internal departments to identify and source equipment, materials, and services while considering cost, quality, and availability.

· Analyze market trends and forecast material needs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

· Develop and present insightful reports on market conditions and merchandise costs.

· Manage the entire purchasing cycle, including preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions.

· Establish and maintain purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.

· Negotiate and secure favorable contracts with vendors to maximize value for the company.

· Resolve vendor issues and maintain positive supplier relationships.

· Oversee purchasing and recordkeeping systems for efficient data management.

· Represent the company in vendor negotiations and contract discussions.

· Implement strategies to manage surplus materials and optimize inventory levels.

· Contribute to the departmental budget and ensure its effective administration.

· Manage and delegate tasks effectively while prioritizing workload.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.

· Proven track record of cost reduction and optimizing purchasing processes.

· Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.

· Understanding of business principles and best practices in procurement.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
