ABOUT OI INFUSION SERVICE

OI offers a complete, turnkey solution to managing infusion therapy patients. Our proven model assists providers with everything they need to start and maintain an infusion center, resulting in increased revenue and higher patient satisfaction. Our management services are designed to let physicians focus on practicing medicine, while our expert staff manages every aspect of their infusion services.

Locations: Augusta, ME and Rockport, ME

Hours: 8am-4:30pm,

Schedule: 3 days a week

Pay: $20hr and $24

JOB SUMMARY

  • Demonstrates expert competence and clinical skills in the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
  • Assists in the examination and treatment of infusion patients. Expert in obtaining vital signs and documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Competent to independently perform skills including obtaining vital signs, checking patients in and scheduling patients visits, inventory, per overseeing nurses' direction, and any other duties requested of you within your scope of practice.
  • Assists nurses with obtaining patient orders, office visit notes, and labs from outside provider offices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Required

o Certification/Registration (CMA/RMA) current or expected within one year of employment. Current BLS, AHA or CPR certification for Healthcare

o Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience and/or training in similar medical practice/field.

o Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred and/or training in similar medical practice/field - OR successful completion of an accredited Military medical school or training

o Electronic Medical Records

o Excel

o Inventory Management
