- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.
- Utilizing Excel and SAP to perform job duties
- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolving performance issues.
- Initiating Purchase Orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on ERP or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
- 5 years as a Buyer in a manufacturing environment required.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
