Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd is Hiring a Material Handler-1st Shift Near Southaven, MS
- Load and/or unload trucks
- Put away incoming freight
- Replenish orders as necessary to support operation
- Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments
- Transport finished goods to be shipped
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment
- Maintain safe actions on and off equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state, and local provisions
- Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements
- Assist and train new hires
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be self-motivated and able to follow instructions with limited supervision
- Must have successfully completed and passed Emerson's training on all required equipment which included but is not limited to; forklift, cherry picker, and tri-loader
- Must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet wearing fall protection gear
- Must follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and walk/stand/work on concrete for 8 hours
- Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectively and efficiently
- JDE knowledge
- High school diploma or GED
