ResponsibilitiesThe North America Supply Chain Director will be responsible for driving Supply Chain execution throughout the Geozone, delivering year over year performance improvement, and for contributing to the development of an industry leading supply chain environment. The North America Supply Chain Director will be a critical partner to the Geozone SVP to execute supply chain activities effectively and efficiently within the Geozone, leveraging global processes for materials, procurement, distribution, logistics, and sourcing. Roles & Responsibilities SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices
Responsible with being familiar with the Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System
Responsible for the health and safety arrangements of all and any subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
Demonstrates effective safety leadership at all times to enhance the Companys commitment to safety performance
QUALITY
Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and
improvement of Weatherfords Management System
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business
OPERATIONS
Supports and contributes to the development, implementation, and execution of strategic supply chain processes in support of supply chain and business objectives
Accountable for maximizing service levels, in conjunction with inventory goals, through distribution requirement planning and deployments
Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the Geozone and the company
Identify opportunities and implement action plans to increase efficiencies and decrease cost
Drives the Geozone Logistics, Distribution Centers and Warehouse strategy to reflect internal customer needs and summarize business requirements aligned with the global strategy
Work with order management, sales & marketing, product managers, manufacturing, suppliers, distribution centers and third party logistics provider in support of business objectives
Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
Works closely with Geozone operations to enhance performance at the point of impact whether in specific country operations and/or contracts.
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
Primary interface for all inventory,logistics and procurement issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements
FINANCIAL

Costs incurred should be within approved budget and processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

Responsible to ensure resources are aligned and coherent with activity levels, activity mix and country specific needs in the Geozone.

Responsbile for actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherfords performance management & coaching tools and processes, including but not limited to talent assessments and succession planning
Responsible for driving strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that enables the Company to attract & retain a high performing talented workforce
VISION & LEADERSHIP
Lead and facilitate cross functional teams in support of strategic initiatives both within the supply chain organization and across Geozones and Manufacturing
Identify process problems and concerns and make recommendations for innovative solutions and corrective actions to achieve desirable results, help the company better manage cost on supplies and supplier services
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, general/strategic sourcing, supply chain management, planning and distribution or similar experience
Have experience managing a large team across locations
Preferred
Supply Chain Management certification
Oil & Gas industry supply chain experience
MBA in Business Administration or Master Degree
RequiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership skills including leading projects with broad scope and impact outside of department
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
Strong problem solving, negotiating, solutions orientation and presentation skills
Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought
