Job DutiesJob Duties and Qualifications

• Under general supervision, promotes excellent Customer relations at the worksite.
• Plans and performs necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed.
• Coordinates and directs the activities of subordinate supervisors, service operators and operator trainees during the equipment rig up and rig down on a location and the preparation of equipment for performing a job.
• Operates 5K through 20K pressure control services on land and offshore.
• Provides planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and dispute resolutions to approved levels.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with jobs performed.
• As needed, may perform data collection and data distribution on jobs.
• Coordinates the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
• Completes all well site and post-job paperwork.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to HSE related activities - site assessments and risk analyses, onsite safety meetings, PPE use, documentation, etc.
• Mentors' peers and trains junior operators and trainees.
• Performs and complete preventative maintenance on all Pressure Control associated equipment.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.

Qualifications

• Skills typically acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years industry related experience.
• Must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success.
• Must be able to work as an effective team member.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Must have completed Forklift training and any specific training requirements for the location.
• Water Survival and Safety certification may be required based on location.
• Must have general knowledge of Pressure Control equipment.
• Must be able to go offshore.
• Class A driver's license required.
• Dependable transportation is required.
