Your Role And ResponsibilitiesAudit existing manufacturing processes for accuracy. Create new manufacturing processes and work instructions. Assist operations by designing test fixtures and jigs. Design facility layouts to improve existing work cells or implementation of new work. Provid ergonomic and safety assessments of existing work cells. Identify & implement improvement opportunities, ensuring adherence to on time delivery, quality, and cost.
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience & combined education.
- 3 years of experience.
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including SAP, Catia, and CAD or SOLIDWORKS.
- Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, SQL DB, coding, and reporting is a plus.
- High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
