Your Role And ResponsibilitiesFoster a culture where safety is first priority and procedures and policies are followed Be a representative of management that portrays a professional attitude and supports the Baldor goals and objectives Provide leadership, direction, training and administration of anyone assigned to their department Be responsible for the quality, production, safety, housekeeping and problem solving on a daily basis for your assigned areas. Operate in compliance with OSHA and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) Standards Must work with all other departments, supervisors, and managers to solve problems and accomplish plant goals Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and discipline direct reports Enforce general handbook policies fairly and consistently
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 0-2 years experience OR Associates Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years experience.
- Candidate must be able to supervise employees while achieving all daily production goals
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritize
- Understand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex Flow and Lean concepts - preferred
- SAP, Kronos - preferred
- Must be willing to attend leadership and continuing education classes
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
