This specific role will be focused on development of computer vision, artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomy technologies for autonomous aerial vehicle platforms. Your contributions will play a central role in the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions, contributing to Honeywell's commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology. You will report directly to our manager of autonomy, computer vision and AI research group and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting research, development and demonstration of AI, computer vision and autonomy technologies
You will be responsible for developing new concepts and technologies, and showing that they work
Help drive growth as a technology expert through interfaces with internal and external customers and partners
Lead and drive technology development programs
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities that require quick adaptation
U.s. Person RequirementsDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE
Master's Degree or PhD from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as robotics, aerospace engineering, or related field.
4 years relevant experience in applying AI and computer vision technologies to aerospace applications

Experience with different sensors for autonomous systems such as: Cameras (elecro-optical, infrared), IMU, GPS, LIDAR
