Be part of the Auxiliary Power Unit Project Engineering team, within Honeywell Power Systems, executing System design or test activities to satisfy all customer requirements. You will be the technical leader and be the primary decision maker for your work package cost, schedule and technical issues. The successful candidate must be able to apply their strong project engineering experience, to serve as the single point of accountability for engineering work package scope and execution in support of overall program objectives. Key Responsibilities
Owns the design and verification testing of APU components to meet customer and airworthiness requirements.
Leads engineering design and/or test teams as the single point of engineering accountability to internal and external customers.
Regularly provides status to and coordinates approval with project leadership
Functions as project manager, estimating budget, schedule, and staffing forecast for the assigned work package.
Ensures assigned work packages are running within the schedule, budget and staffing commitments
Vendor interface for the delivery of hardware and services to support the project.
Travel to the US and/ or internationally - 10% YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in a dynamic multi-functional environment
Due to contractual requirements, this position requires US citizen status.
