Position Summary: Responsible for leading, managing and achieving the organizational benefits associated with account management of Oilgear’s oil and gas product line.Responsible for direct and inside sales to drilling contractors, OEMs, and third-party sellers in the offshore, upstream oil and gas drilling marketplace.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Preferred Qualifications or Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical discipline or a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry or hydraulic mechanics.
Strong writing and speaking skills are a must.
An extensive account management background in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Travel around Houston will be continuous on a weekly basis.
Travel outside of Texas: Up to 10% possible
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and margin percentage and gross margin. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office.
Must have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations. Requires a willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals. Must have a proven ability to implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics. Superior written and verbal communication skills a must. Strong account management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high customer expectations required.
