Responsibilities:
1. Performs general repair of heating cooling, plumbing and electrical systems as directed.
2. Performs minor structural repair as directed.
3. Performs lawn care and landscaping duties as directed.
4. Removes snow, ice and debris from walks, drives and parking areas as directed.
5. Assists with moving office equipment and furniture as directed.
6. Participates in the preventative maintenance program of the department, including servicing equipment, fixtures and appliances, and documenting service provided.
7. Assists in the addition, remodeling or renovating of all physical property as directed.
8. Attends in service training sessions as directed.
9. Maintains knowledge of current regulations governing physical plant maintenance.
10. Responds to emergencies on an on-call basis.
11. Maintains the Data Safety Sheets (employee’s right to knowledge) for the department(s).
12. Maintains regulatory requirements under CMS, state fire code, dept. of health regulations, dept. of labor, MN dept. of transportation, OSHA etc. and all record keeping required.
