Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas related to accounting functions and financial reporting for all the companies within Frank Beverage Group. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Accounting Manager must meet tight deadlines and multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation and financial reporting.
Responsibilities

• Leads a team of four accounting professionals and payroll manager, including coaching, development, and performance management.
• Oversees all payroll submissions, accounts payable, and accounting transactions and reviews for accuracy
• Contributes to and manages various processes of the month end close
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data; ensures that all financial reporting deadlines are met and prepares month end and fiscal year end reports
• Directs and participates in the development/improvement of accounting and internal control policies and systems
• Coordinate the provision of information to external audits for quarterly compilations, annual audit, and tax review
• Assist in the 401(k) plan administration, compliance, and annual audit
• Troubleshoots new changes and updates within ERP system, GL system, and payroll system
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Provide accounting expertise for cross-functional special projects
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Strong computer skills including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Prior experience with general ledger and ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and interruptions throughout the day
• Ability to work independently
• Analytic and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable
• Team player, cooperative, gains trust and support of peers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• CPA required
• 5 years of progressively difficult accounting and/or finance experience
• Experience supervising accounting staff
