Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Office Assistant/Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of our store while also assisting customers with their flooring and countertop needs. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the right flooring and countertop materials for their needs.
• Provide product information, answer inquiries, and address any concerns or questions customers may have.
• Guide customers through the purchasing process, including measuring, estimating, and quoting prices.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their purchases and address any post-sale issues or concerns.
• Administrative Support:
• Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling customer inquiries.
• Schedule appointments for consultations, installations, and deliveries, and maintain an organized calendar.
• Showroom Maintenance:
• Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Arrange product displays and samples to showcase our flooring and countertop options effectively.
• Monitor and replenish brochure racks, pricing tags, and other marketing materials as needed.
• Sales Support:
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
• Assist in generating leads and following up with potential customers to drive sales opportunities.
• Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and community outreach activities to promote our products and services.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and flooring software.
• Knowledge of flooring and countertop materials, installation techniques, and industry trends is a plus.
• Flexibility to work two Saturdays per month as needed.
