Law Enforcement DHS Agent II / III This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Level II G25B - Annual Salary : $64,261.

88 / Per Year Full State Employee Benefits Level III G25C - Annual Salary : $70,685.04 / Per Year Full State Employee Benefits Job-related travel is Occasional.

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. Minimum Qualifications Level II Minimum Qualifications : Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree plus one year of professional experience in conducting criminal investigations for a government agency and must be CLEET peace officer certified;

or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional experience in conducting criminal investigations for a government agency or professional social work experience assessing the needs of individuals who have applied for government assistance programs and determining eligibility for each year of the required bachelor's degree.

Level III Minimum Qualifications : Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree plus three years of professional experience in conducting criminal investigations for a government agency and must be CLEET peace officer certified;

Job Duties This is a commissioned peace officer position. The incumbent is tasked with the investigation of crimes committed against DHS or programs administered by DHS while strictly following agency policies, State law, Federal law, the U.

S. Constitution, the State Constitution, and established case law. The incumbent is tasked with investigating violations of Title 56 OS 243- Food Stamp Fraud, Title 56 OS 185- Public Assistance Fraud, and Title 56 OS 1005.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Applicants must have a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment. ## Incumbents for this position will be required to : Meet the qualifications for permanent appointment as Police or Peace Officers as provided for in Title 70, Section 3311 O.

  • S. 2001; possess the ability and willingness to carry a firearm and use deadly force as required; have and maintain physical and mental stamina to perform the work;
  • be willing to accept the physical discomforts and / or dangers inherent in the work, be willing to be on call twenty-four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week;
  • be willing to work varied shifts and work days, including holidays; pass a rigorous character and background investigation;
  • pass a psychological evaluation as required by state statutes; be willing to travel frequently and be away from home for extended periods of time;

be willing to transfer where needed and to accept assignment anywhere in the state. The Department of Human Services has determined that some positions in this job family are safety sensitive as defined by 63 O.
