| Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Vocational/Technical 2 years of lab experience with PCR and working with nucleic acids. Working knowledge and proficiency in molecular techniques; specifically, RNA/DNA extractions, PCR analysis, molecular assay development, use of gel electrohoresis, and trouble-shooting. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and proficiency in general use of laboratory equipment are required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related field 3-5 years of lab experience in molecular diagnostic laboratory, veterinary diagnostic laboratory, or research laboratory setting. |
