We are looking for an experienced merchandiser to enhance sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
• Monitor and report customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
• Collaborate with territory sales representative and delivery drivers to coordinate and execute merchandising of products to the shelves and in displays.
• Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
• Understand layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves
• Monitor stock movement and out of stock items to sales representative.
• Build constructive customer and team relationships.
• Remain up to date with industry’s best practices

Skills

• Proven working experience in merchandising
• Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
• Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, turn and reach while moving breakable packaging up to 45lbs.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle to commute to multiple retail locations on a daily route to complete merchandising, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 36 per week
