The company is a leading provider of cloud-connected medical devices, personal health care devices, and home-based tests and is at the forefront of the digital health revolution.

👨‍💻 Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the Data Platform team that has 5 members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and highly scalable data solutions.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of our data platform and data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Ensure all data practices comply with HIPAA and other relevant data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into our digital health products.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.

👩‍🎓 Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing data engineering teams and delivering large-scale data projects.
• Expertise in modern data technologies and architectures (e.g., Big Data, data storage, ETL, data warehousing, data lakes).
• Experience in common data frameworks/technologies such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake/Iceberg, Snowflake, etc
• Proficiency in programming languages used in data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL).
• Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data-related services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of and experience with HIPAA compliance and other healthcare data regulations is a plus
