We're currently hiring for Full Time Water Meter Installers in Gwinnett County, GA! NO EXPERIENCE is required with paid training! If you consider yourself an independent worker and enjoy being outside, this job is for you!

All of our field staff are provided with:

• Safety gear including company boot (allowance), vests, glasses, etc.
• Paid Training at $22/hour
• Company provided vehicle
• Benefits include medical and dental insurance, vacation & holiday pay, 401K plan with possibility of overtime paid at time and a half

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for replacing and testing existing water meters by installing a new water meter at residential or commercial sites to enhance metering solutions, accurately measure consumption, and ensure transmittal of signals to the network.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings: drug test, background check, and driving record
• Must be able to walk up to 10-15 miles per day, outdoors in all-weather environments
• Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. of force unassisted.

Working Conditions and Hours:

• 8 Hour days, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
• After the training period, employees are transitioned to piece work, where you would have the opportunity to earn in excess of the training rate!
• Outdoor work environment
• Normal working hours are daylight hours; limited work hours on weekends except for periodic on-call duty and mass workloads
• Little supervision to give you freedom to work independently and manage your own day

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Successfully complete the company's training program and pass applicable written and field tests
• Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters
