**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dynamic Cashier/Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service along with selling our brand credit card. This role involves working in a retail environment, assisting customers with their purchases, and promoting sales of various products.

**Duties:**

- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with customers

- Processes credit cards and enrolls customers in free loyalty program

- Scan goods and collect payments

- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets

- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area

- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store

- Assist customers in locating products

- Promote sales by suggesting additional items or upselling

- Answer customers' questions and provide information about products

- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred

- Previous experience in credit card sales

- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Multilingual abilities are a plus

- Familiarity with grocery store, electronics, appliance sales, or related industries is advantageous

- Proficiency in English is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
