Old Republic Surety Company (ORSC) is currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join its Information Services Team at its home office located in Brookfield, WI. In general, the IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall organization, management, and completion of key technical projects within the Information Services Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the overall coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within the scope and budget.
• Facilitate and document defined project tasks, milestones, deliverables, and resource availability and requirements.
• Develop and maintain project scopes and objectives, which include tasks, timelines, milestones, resources, and communications. Involve all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that arise during project implementation.
• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved by end users and/or stakeholders.
• Resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
• Establish, maintain, and manage relationships with all stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate has experience working in the Information Technology field and has demonstrable experience working on a large integration project. PMP Certification is a plus.
Working as a Project Manager requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary. Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: This position requires one to sit for extended periods of time and stand and/or walk occasionally. The position requires one to occasionally push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 40 pounds for IT or Building Services roles. No personal protective equipment is required.
