This nonprofit health center is dedicated to providing comprehensive health services in one of Massachusetts' most underserved communities. We are seeking a psychiatrist to enhance our behavioral health team.

• Key Responsibilities**:
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and treatments for referred patients.
• Prescribe medications and oversee follow-up visits for medication management.
• Provide psychotherapy and participate in mental health intake conferences and case presentations.
• Assess patients in crisis and determine the need for psychiatric or substance abuse inpatient admissions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and agencies involved in patient care, ensuring a team-oriented approach to integrate behavioral health with primary care.
• Participate in the supervision of interns and staff, and facilitate training sessions.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development and community consultations.
