Experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Addiction Specialist Opportunity
Our Federally Qualified Health Center offers a comprehensive range of medical, behavioral health, dental, and support services to patients in Boston, the South Shore, and Cape Cod. We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Addiction Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate psychiatric services with the Behavioral Health Director and Psychiatrist
• Provide direct services to patients with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
• Conduct diagnostic medication evaluations and medication management
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, OBAT Nurses, and Coordinators in patient treatment
• Manage medication refills for patients in the practice
• Conduct bridge visits for patients awaiting intake and walk-in patients with urgent psychiatric needs
• Assist Primary Care and OBAT team with de-escalation when necessary
• Complete discharge visits from referring facilities
• Engage in regular supervision with Psychiatrist as per PMHNP requirements
• Participate in diagnostic formulations and treatment plan development for patients
• Take a leadership role in case conferences, in-service training, and provide overviews on medical and psychiatric issues
