Title : Production Machine Repairer

Location : Independence, MO

Salary : $$ per hour

Schedule : 36 / 48 rotating12-hour shifts or 4-10s depending on the department

Focus : The Production Machine Repairer is responsible for diagnosing mechanical problems on production equipment and machinery and make necessary repairs.

Production Machine Repairer Essential Job Functions :

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble machine for overhaul and / or repair.
• Replace bearings, makes proper lineup, and installs drive couplings.
• Using on plant dispatch system to perform required maintenance, repairs and PM's.

Production Machine Repairer Minimum Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years recent and relevant experience in mechanical troubleshooting with problem-solving skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical problems and making necessary repairs.
• Ability to use measuring devices and power and non-power hand tools.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends, including overtime.

Location-Specific Requirements :

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
• This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with Army and Department of Defense access policies.
